Scholarships at Black Rhino Academy

At Black Rhino Academy, we believe that a child’s future should not be determined by financial limitations. Our scholarship program exists to ensure that promising young learners from the Karatu region and surrounding communities in Tanzania can access an international-standard education rooted in Tanzanian culture and values.

Currently, 45 of our 106 students attend Black Rhino Academy with partial or full scholarships. More than half of these recipients receive between 50% and 100% of their tuition and boarding fees covered. Our scholarships primarily support students from low-income families in the Karatu area, with academic merit considered at higher grade levels.

Thanks to the support of donors and partner foundations, these scholarships cover not only school fees and boarding but also meals, school supplies, and access to extracurricular and enrichment activities. Every contribution to the scholarship fund helps remove barriers to education and creates opportunities for students to grow into confident, compassionate leaders who will help shape Tanzania’s future.
